There are several ways you can donate to help us support our library

Donate Money

Our organization greatly depends on the help of the community.  Please consider donating and help us fund West Pearland Library activities.  Every donation makes a difference.

Use our easy and secure method above to make your contribution.  Remember that we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt group and your donation is tax deductible.

Sponsor a Bookshelf

A legacy within the community may be created by the sponsorship of a bookshelf. When the contribution is $2,000, a plaque will be added to a row of shelves (on the end panel) with an individual or business name, or in honor of a person or group designated by the donor.  When the contribution is $1000, your plaque will share the bookshelf with similar donors.  Sponsorship is for the life of the bookshelf at West Pearland Library.

Dedicate a Bench or Activity Table

Honor a special person or a group of people by dedicating a bench outside the library or an activity table indoors in the children’s’ play area.  A personal message is available on a plaque on either a bench or activity table for a donation of $3500.  This personal message may be an individual or business name, or in honor of a person or group designated by the donor.  Sponsorship is for the life of the bench or table at West Pearland Library.

Name a room or area

Honor a special person or a group of people by purchasing the right to name a room or area in the new library building.   The areas available include a 100-seat theater, a large meeting room, a children’s story time area, an outdoor balcony, a 16-person conference room, a radio/television/film maker space and seven study rooms.  A personal message is available on a plaque at the purchased area.  This personal message may be an individual or business name, or in honor of a person or group designated by the donor.  Sponsorship costs range from $2500 to $30,000 and is valid for a period of five years.

 

Do you shop at Kroger? Kroger supports local nonprofit organizations through their Kroger Community Rewards program. This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to our organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card.

All proceeds go to support services, programs, and equipment needs at West Pearland Library.

Here’s how to sign up:
1. Go to www.kroger.com.
2. Using your Kroger Rewards card number, create a Kroger account (*or create a digital account without a card)
3. Sign in and scroll down to the bottom of the page.
4. Under the topic COMMUNITY, click on Kroger Community Rewards
5. Select “Link your shopper’s card”
6. Choose your organization. Type in Friends of Pearland Westside Library
